Dear Fordham Community,

Fordham University is beginning its preparations for accreditation review by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) which will culminate in a site visit by an MSCHE Evaluation Team in spring 2025.

MSCHE reviews the University's mission and goals, its performance, and its resources every eight years in order to ensure compliance with seven standards of excellence. The process begins with an institutional self-study led by a steering committee and a variety of working groups and teams. We invite you to learn more on our website.

Join Us for a Town Hall April 25

We look forward to engaging with you in rich conversations over the coming 18 months as we reflect together on the ways Fordham's mission supports the future pathways of students, faculty, and staff.

Sean McKitrick, MSCHE Vice-President, Institutional Field Relations, will visit Fordham on April 25 to meet with President Tetlow and the Middle States Steering Committee to talk about the accreditation process. He will also participate in virtual town hall meetings with faculty, staff and students to discuss MSCHE expectations and the accreditation process. We hope you can join us. An invitation will follow.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or feedback, please respond to this email or email selfstudy2025@fordham.edu.

Sincerely,
